Direct Access Supplies have been providing bespoke and accredited on-site training courses for over 30 years. These courses specialise in; Working at Height, Rescue, Manual Handling and Emergency First Aid.

New for 2024 we are excited to launch our own training centre in Cambridge, which will host a variety of open courses starting in April. This will allow our customers to maintain training for their teams without the need for an on-site course, making it more cost effective and accessible.

Portable step ladder training

Portable Steps and Ladders

Portable steps/ladders continue to be one of the highest risk pieces of equipment used in the workplace. Our certified training features all the content required to keep you and your team as safe as possible. We cover everything from relevant Legislation, Standards and Duty Ratings, pre-use inspections, maintenance and safe use. The course includes a multiple choice exam and practical session to ensure competence.

We offer bespoke training courses for aluminium scaffold towers. Each course covers the necessary Legislation, Regulations, Standards, safe use, and pre-use inspection. The course includes a multiple choice exam and practical session to ensure competence.

MEWP Mobile elevating work platform training

Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs)

We offer both bespoke and IPAF accredited training courses to suit your needs. The course covers Legislation related to the use of MEWP’s (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms), safe use and pre-use checks/function tests. We will also cover the selection of appropriate PPE when using a MEWP.

Working at height roof safety training

Harness - Working at Height/Roof Safety

Our Working at Height Harness and roof safety training course is designed to equip the delegate with the knowledge and skills necessary for safe work practices when working on roofs and elevated areas. We will cover the relevant Legislation, pre-use inspections of harnesses and other PFPE. The practical element of the course covers harness donning, as well as safe access to roof areas and the use of horizontal/vertical lifelines.

Our confined space training course is essential for individuals who work in, or near confined spaces. These courses provide knowledge and skills to ensure safety, legal compliance and effective risk management.

We also offer rescue training for both Work at Height/rooftops and confined spaces, which covers provisioning and practical exercises.
